Youth Arts
Wirral Youth Theatre/Youth Arts (WYT) and Pacific Road Arts Centre are joining forces to provide a dynamic multi media participatory arts provision for young people in Wirral.
WYT has a long history of providing high quality participatory arts with young people across Wirral and now offers an even wider range of opportunities for young people including:
- A wide range of participative arts
- Peer education training and work placements
- Work-based training in a professional theatre setting
- Accredited training
- Outreach provision
- Issue-based touring theatre
- External commissions
- DVD and resource packs
All this work is underpinned by National Youth Work Standards and the aims of Every Child Matters which aims to ensure that young people are healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve social and economic well-being.
Excellent partnerships have been forged with other statutory and voluntary services for young people to enable us to reach and best meet the needs of the broadest range of young people.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Only £1 per session. You’ll never pay for more than two sessions a week. Your first week is free. If you can’t afford £1 don’t let it stop you coming – we can help with these costs.
